DrowningI'm drowning in my own blood  an endless crimson ocean in my mind.  Waters rising ever higher with no escape  I'm trapped in this bloody hell.   
The pain keeps getting worse  with no end in sight.   
Something, anything to stop the pain  to wash away the blood, erase the memories.   
Its consuming me day by day  
Too slowly for anybody to know until its too late   
By the time you find me I'm already gone  trapped miles in the scarlet sea of blood.  The ocean that was once my mind  has now become my grave. Drowning

IncidentThe road is lit only by rigs  responders clad in bunker gear  surround the destroyed vehicles  assesing the damages and injuries.  
 
Children crying and frightened  as saws cut through the crushed metal.  No way to know if they are injured.   
Talking to them does no good  they do not answer.  What is wrong with them?  It is impossible to know   
Soon enough the children are loaded  onto strechers and into ambulances.  The parents are also loaded  
for transport to the hospital E.R.   
Two vehicles down, two to go.  The occupants appear uninju Incident

PoisonPoison is slowly dripping into me  penetrating my body and soul.  
Eating away what little dignity  is left in me.   
I’m falling apart piece by piece  as the poison destroys my  spiritual self and leaves behind  a girl who is so lost.   
So lost that she doesn’t know who to trust,  who to love, who to hate, or who to fear.  So lost that getting dressed every morning  becomes an almost impossible task for her.   
All of the simple things in life  that other people take for granted  are all of the things that before the poison  were no trouble f Poison

It begins without another word  you move slowly looking for that one spot.   
Soon enough your search ends  and I feel your lips against my neck.   
The kiss begins immediately  you press harder as the seconds tick by.   
I pull you closer urging you on  your response overpowers me.   
Within seconds I feel your teeth  pressing against my skin.   
You’re opening your jaws wider  ready to bite down as soon as I give the command.

Not eveyone likes twilight that is a commonly known fact. This news article [link] is one I found particularly amusing. Some people seem to be under the delusion that it is quality writing when it clearly isn't. The book is filled with Mary-Sues, has no plot, contains multiple spelling and grammar issues on every page, and just sucks in general. So for any of you who feel the need to grab a book that actually deserves to be read check this out [link] There are some awesome suggestions there. A few more can even be found in some of the comments.

Had to get that off my chest, sorry if you like twilight but I don't and felt the need to make that clear.

George is one of my favorite authors... I think Dragon Slippers is the only book I read cover to cover without a single break xD.

Sun and Moon is also just... amazing. Proof that you can take elements that usually create... well, Bella Swans and end up with a character who you want to see happy because she deserves it.

Seriously- the girl has a pet wolf *though a farmer mistook it for a dog*, a name given to her by a magic reindeer and the ability to speak with animals, and things like that. But she's just so well balanced that it all works.

And it gives me great comfort to see that it can be done, since I do a similar thing in my work xD
